| Tim is not a movie critic, but when he sits on a red couch he can not censor himself. He has gone through different philosophies such as, "There is no such thing as a bad film." To "There is something wonderful to be found in everything." To "When the Shit hits the fan Duck and Cover." To having a good enough conscience to "laugh at and not with." Tim moved to Los Angeles, from Indiana in 1985. After a few grueling years of waiting tables, his childhood dream came true, a Hollywood freelance career. At first there was the glamorous life of Production Assistance, working on hundreds of commercials and many television shows, including Bloopers and Practical Jokes, and Beverly Hills 90210. Not knowing exactly what he wanted to do next, he moved into the art department as a Set Dresser. When he realized he couldnt trust his own taste in things, he became an Assistant Director while sustaining his lifestyle as a Video Assist Operator. He was assistant director on four features, including Bounty Hunter 2002 The Rape Of Eden, in which he also had a small role. Being an A.D. nearly killed Tim, so he bought a video camera and began shooting weddings and parties, and behind the scenes of commercials, and then shooting and co-producing documentaries. As one might imagine, Tim has too much time on his hands and sometimes sees a lot of movies. Remembering them is his biggest challenge, and being haunted by them is his greatest joy. |
